As we enter into the 10th Season of the Cape Fear Flipper Club pinball league, I thought I’d take a moment to give players a brief breakdown on the history of league since its inception in the Winter of 2018. CFFC completed 4 seasons at Bill’s Front Porch before moving to Cape Fear Spirits & Beer, our home for the past 5 seasons. Over the years, 60 individuals have completed a full season CFFC League. Only 3 players (Eric Sutton, Dave MacQueen, and Tory MacQueen) have completed all 9 seasons. Two others, Jamie Caton and Luke Faulkenberry, have completed 8 seasons. In Season 4 we began holding formal playoffs at the conclusion of league and honoring players with the Top Dog award (most points in the season), the Team Player Award (most supportive of players and the group), and the Rising Star Award (most improvement across the season).
